Emission offsets

Carbon offsets are actions or initiatives that reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere.

As part of our commitment, we have implemented a program to offset emissions from our mining industry trucks (scope 1) through the voluntary carbon market and in collaboration with Copec, we channel these resources towards sustainable projects that directly contribute to mitigating our environmental impact.

This initiative not only reflects our efforts to reduce our direct emissions, but also reinforces our commitment to solutions that drive a more sustainable future.
