One person’s blood donation can save the life of up to 3 patients and in Chile we have a deficit of more than 50% of what is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).
In line with CyD Ingeniería’s commitment to the communities in which it operates, a group of CyD employees participated in the blood donation campaign “Donate one and save three” at the Antofagasta Hospital.
This activity was coordinated by Nathalie Arriagada of the Antofagasta Hospital’s Fiscal Inspection Advisory (AIF) (Public Works Management), together with Macarena Flores and Carlos Iglesias of the Mining Management. Employees of the latter management had the opportunity to make the donation at the CyD office in Antofagasta, where professionals from the hospital’s Blood Bank Unit went.
