Route 5 Concession – Talca to Chillán Section

External Control Unit | Technical advisory services provided by the UCE to Ruta del Maule Sociedad Concesionaria S.A. for the administration and control of the execution and development of engineering projects and works associated with Supplementary Agreement No. 4.

The services include:

• Advising on the development of the consultancy contract for the preparation of detailed engineering, designing and implementing a system to verify compliance with the Terms of Reference governing the contract.

• Reviewing detailed engineering across all specialties, submitting observations, recommendations, and proposals to the client regarding the quality of each study.

• Providing guidance on the interpretation of the various contract clauses and reporting any anomalies encountered.

• Certifying progress of the detailed engineering project phases for consultancy payment statements, and certifying construction progress for payment requests submitted by the Contractor.

• Coordinating direct on-site inspection of the works under execution, as well as reviewing and monitoring risk prevention, safety, and hygiene measures.
