As part of CyD’s Corporate Volunteering program, collaborators from the Mining Management participated in beautifying the facilities of the Carmen Goudie Shelter in the Coquimbo region, which houses around 50 homeless adults every night.
The activity involved painting the shelter’s interior walls, which had deteriorated over time. Fifteen CyD volunteers participated along with some of the shelter residents. Afterward, the activity participants enjoyed a delicious lunch and engaged in a Christmas-themed good wishes activity.
We thank and congratulate the volunteers for their excellent work, as their efforts have helped improve the living conditions for the shelter residents.
